The invisible threads of being exist within the simplest interactions and can be a reminder of hope: a shared glance between strangers passing each other in the street, a deep breath of fresh air, an early April rainfall which brings tulips back to life. Without looking too closely, we can encounter endless ways to feel the interconnection of all beings.
My art practice is an acknowledgment of parallel symbols found across all life forms. Often, we take for granted the expansiveness of our connections. We are distracted by our egos which try to stand out: to overcome the inevitability of our being which is to be a part of nature.
I am an interdisciplinary Chicago artist, 2023 graduate from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in Critical Social Thought, and 2024 Fulbright recipient.
